My routine
This section explains exercises that should be done every day, because of their impact on health, good-condition, mental health and so forth.
1. Jumping rope
Do about 1000-2000 of them, that will take you about 10-15 minutes, depending on the tempo, type of rope,...
Try to do simple basic jumps, one legged jumps, running-jumps,... combine.
Don't go over 2000, because it although it's a great all round exercise I guess it's just not meant to be done for one hour per day (or is it?).
2. Hindu squats
Do about 100-200 of them. Maybe more. It will take you 2-5 minutes.
100 is ok, 200 is even better. 500 is... well you're a pro at this exercise, it's time to move on :)
3. Hindu pushups
Do about 20-30, or more if you can, of them. Start slowly - eg. 10-15 and progress to as much as you can :). It's a great exercise.
4. Neck exercises
Hold your head and try to move the head in the opposite direction. Hold the preasure for 20-40 seconds on each side.
You can do:
-- side push - bend your head, so that ear touches your shoulder and press the head with other hand even further down towards the shoulder. At the same time try to move your head in opposite direction for 20-40 seconds. The release the preasure and try again (2-3 times on each side).
-- twist push - twist your neck, so that your are looking in the soulder direction. Your nose should be abouve shoulder. Now hold your head and try to move it to "normal" position (looking straight ahead). Release the preasure after 20-40 seconds. Do the exercise on both sides for 2-3 times.
Why do it?
It helps your neck - if you wake up with sore neck or headaches for no reason, it's not your pillow :) it's probably something else. Now, this simple exercises can help or not, but it's worth a try. They work for me - it took about 1 week for them to start working and now I have much less sore necks than I used to.
5. Good old school
100 squats (hindu)
100 push ups ("regular")
100 crunches
Divide them into let's say 3x times 33 each, and there you go: strong for a lifetime!
You can also make changes: perhaps one day 250 pushups - divided into 25-50 sets (whatever is possible)
6. ... more to come ...
